Save the Date – Celebrate with Us on Oct. 15!

The YWCA World Service Council of YWCA USA will celebrate a century of service in a special virtual presentation Thursday, October 15 at 5 p.m. EDT. The program will document the Council’s extraordinary history on the world stage from the aftermath of World War I and II to present day and will feature women who have played prominent roles in the World Service Council and World YWCA. More details will be forthcoming including how to access this milestone event.

In its impressive financial role for the World YWCA, the World Service Council has been instrumental in supporting global young women’s leadership through decades of the World YWCA’s internship program and has contributed to capacity building of World YWCA trainings and brick and mortar projects.

The October meeting will be a great way for the entire YWCA movement to learn more about the Council’s mission and impact on ensuring women and girls’ have equal opportunities and a voice in all issues affecting their lives.

We will share more when there is more complete information and until then we pray for the well being and healing of all and for individual and collective strength within the YWCA community in Lebanon.🙏🙏🏼🙏🏾 ...
